WindTunnel Technology uses computer designed air ducts to provide a powerful dual air stream to enhance dirt pick up capabilities. The WindTunnel design also reduces the scattering of debris, common to many ordinary canisters. The WindTunnel Bagless Power Nozzle Canister with Electronic finger-touch variable speed control, remote fingertip power on/off and remote fingertip brush roll on/off, picks up more dirt than any other canister...period!
Hoover’s latest canister stands out for its design-savvy looks, not to mention the fact that it cleans with powerful WindTunnel technology. Dirt particles are cleverly ducted away from the spinning agitators to ensure they’re captured in the bagless dirt cup and not sent back out onto the carpet. The HEPA filter traps minute allergen particles and conveniently removes for cleaning. Large, soft wheels allow the compact 12-amp vacuum--which looks like it could play a robot extra in Star Wars--to maneuver easily. Best of all, the handgrip features electronic control buttons for power on and off, variable suction (allowing smooth transition from wood floors to area rugs), and agitator action speed for carpets. Tools are easily attached to the telescoping wand, making it a snap to switch from cleaning floors to using drape and upholstery tools. A one-year warranty covers this unique vacuum against defects.

This vacuum is so much better than the Kenmore it replaced. Kenmore is always highly rated in Consumer Reports Magazine (this one was also highly rated), but I found the construction of our last Kenmore upright vacuum to be very poor. The connection between the hose and the wand for using the hardwood floor brush depended on two little plastic nubs on the hose. These broke off after a few months. The wand was forever getting loose.
In contrast the Electrolux Oxygen canister model has a mechanical positive click mechanism for the wand. The accessories (including the hardwood floor brush) is by friction, but it sticks on very securely and I expect it will keep working well in the future.
We picked this instead of the 2 times as expensive Miele. We’ve had it a couple of months; so far it is working great.

I bought this vacuum to replace the one I had. It is much better as I thought. The cleaning brush is a little bit heavy but it it’s very easy to move and I like the option of switching from carpet to bare floors. This vacuum is very powerful and has a lot of functions but as the same time pretty quiet. Also after I cleaned my apartment the air felt pretty clean.

This new vacuum has many new useful features. It does a great job and was shipped super fast. I am an Electrolux fan from way back.

I have had this vacuum less than 6 months, literally used it maybe 14 times. The plastic piece, where the head swivels, in the power head broke off completely. This vacuum was used by one adult and not abused in any way. When I took it for repair, the repairman said it is a common problem with this model’s power head.
Buyer beware!

So very happy I listened to the other customer reviews and bought this vacuum!! It is a BREEZE to use and is of high quality.
After over a year of fighting with an Infinity upright (do not buy this vacuum) that made me exhasuted just trying to get it to work – this Electrolux canister vacuum was a wish come true. Suction is absolutely great – even around wall edges. On bare floors, it is literally effortless to push.
The price I got on Amazon beat BJ’s Wholesale price by $41. Standard shipping was incredibly fast- Even my son said-mom- didn’t you like order that yesterday? If it’s possible for a vacuum to make you happy, then I’d rate this one bliss. (This coming from a full time working mother of 4, who hates to clean.)
The only thing that gave as much satisfaction as this vacuum, was putting the Infinity out for trash.
